As Senior VP, Dr.Alok leads the Corporate strategy group covering Corporate Communications, L&D, Customer Experience, Business Excellence as well as emerging Asian markets. Previously, he was EVP of Canon India, where his business acumen, strategic vision and execution credentials helped to drive sales growth exponentially to make it the largest market in South and South East Asian region across 23 countries. In his current role, he is leading several transformational projects.

Alok was conferred honorary doctorate in 2011 to signify his leadership and contribution to industry. PR week Asia has featured him in Global Power Book 2016 edition. He has been listed in top 100 global influencers by ventureoutsource.com in 2012 and recognized as “The Best CMO of the Year” by CMO Council USA in 2009. Asian Photography publication rated him as “The Most Influential Person in Photography in India”. He has been listed in ‘THE ‘A’ LIST’ of who’s who by Campaign media. Alok is a recognized speaker in the domains of strategy, Innovation, leadership, sales & marketing, talent development, PR & communications. He is a common face in many industry forums, panels and Juries. He has led several industry bodies as President & Chairman.

Besides Canon, Alok has worked in Motorola & Tata group and is an alumni of IMD Lausanne. He is based in Singapore.
